Structural EngineerNorth Dublin€55-65kRequired for leading supplier of Precast elements to the construction industry.Responsibilities

• Design of architectural precast concrete façade systems and supporting fixings, on flag ship projects in sectors including commercial, residential, leisure , healthcare.

• Working with client design teams to develop bespoke ‘whole’ façade solutions to suit architectural, structural and site constraints.

• Liaising with the in-house Production and Installation Teams to ensure optimum design for manufacture , transportation, and erection on site.

• Working on both Concept and Detail Designs for each project.

• Preparation of calculations and reviewing drawings for production.

• Reporting to a Senior Structural Engineer and working with a very experienced teams of designers.

May require some occasional travel between Ireland and UK for meetings and siteinspections.

engineering professional.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Structural EngineeringMinimum 4 years’ experience with specific experience in reinforced concrete and steel design.Ambition to become a Chartered Engineer (in-house mentorship and training will be provided)Ability to work on own initiative in a busy environment but with support and mentorship from the rest of the engineering team.Design of Concrete and steel Structures to Eurocodes.Knowledge of Building Regulations.Experience in the use of Design Software, including Structural Engineering Design Packages, AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, Sketch Up and Excel etc.REQUIREMENTSDegree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or related discipline.Contact John.Behan@icds.ie for more info or call 01-6321200
