Business intelligence student assistant, Advanced Analytics and Process Optimization

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

In this new role supporting Pharmaceutical Production & Supply Chain organization, you will join more than 500 employees across Denmark and France who are responsible for manufacturing and packaging of sterile and dry forms formulations to Lundbeck and external customers, product introduction, direct sourcing, contract manufacturing, artwork management, master data, production planning, warehousing, and distribution.

Your key tasks will be:

-Front-end BI development, dashboards, KPI automation, worklists in Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or Qlik, to improve processes in collaboration with production and supply chain colleagues.

-Assist in prototyping BI solutions from process and data mapping, and logic understanding, to explore in an agile way improvement ideas for further development.

-Support colleagues to solve problems with data analysis, through advanced used of Excel, Analysis for Office or SQL coding, depending on your current knowledge and interest to learn new skills.

-Error identification and handling – support the maintenance and troubleshooting of any errors of current BI tools when needed.

-Data modelling / blending by SQL or low-code tools, or the interest to learn more on how to work with it when needed.

-Minor administrative tasks

Your future team

As our new colleague, you will join the Advance Analytics and Process Optimization team. We are a cross-functional department collaborating with all areas in Pharmaceutical Production & Supply Chain organization, responsible of executing and supporting improvement activities. In your role, you will be highly involved in the execution of improvements from Business Intelligence initiatives.

We are looking for a new colleague that is very ambitious and highly skilled – but equally important a colleague that can contribute with energy and a good sense of humour that characterizes our team.

The working hours are 15 hours per week and the position is based in Valby, Copenhagen. We expect you to be able to stay with us for +1 year before graduation.
The work can be arranged flexibly and fit into your study schedule and exam periods. We also expect flexibility and dedication from you.

What you bring to the team

Our preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:

-You are at least 2 years into a relevant education, e.g. engineering, supply chain management, data analytics.

-You have a strong interest in manufacturing or supply chain processes, and how to improve them from data insights and analytics.

-You have solid experience with tools like Excel, Analysis for Office, Power BI, SAC or Qlik and a general interest to develop your skills around Business Intelligence tools.

-Experience with SQL, Python or working with SAP can be advantageous, but it is not a requirement.

-You have an interest in LEAN / Operational Excellence concept combined with digitalization, to drive business value from digital initiatives and data insights.

-You show high standards and discipline in your work.

-You have excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English or Danish.

-You work very well in teams as well on your own.
