We have two posts that are full time, working 35 hours per week and fixed term until 31 July 2025.

We have two new Officer roles within the Student Support and Residential Life service cluster of the University’s Student and Academic Services. These roles report into the Student Support Development Manager. 

As part of the role, you will be coordinating and delivering initiatives to develop a whole-university approach to supporting student wellbeing. This will include planning, organising and delivering training and development activities with a particular focus on:

A Personal Tutor development programme 

Personal Tutor Resources Hub 

University Student Wellbeing Framework 

Intercultural Sensitivity Assessment Framework 

University Mental Health Charter 

Special student support initiatives

We are seeking two compassionate, efficient, and committed individuals to take on key responsibilities in managing the projects’ intricate logistics and fostering strategic partnerships. 

In this role, you will work closely with the University’s Student Union, internal teams, and external stakeholders to establish clear communication pathways and collaborative approaches for student wellbeing initiatives.

You should be at ease addressing delicate topics such as those mentioned above and engaging in constructive conversations about them with both professional and academic staff.
