About the RoleTrim Part Engineering is responsible for engineering A-surface parts like loudspeaker grilles for all Harman Brands for the Automotive Industry globally. You will be part of a small and agile team creating metal / plastic grilles or other brand related interior experiences like moving ALT or details with built-in light for iconic brands like JBL®, Bowers & Wilkins®, BANG & OLUFSEN® and many more.What You Will Do
- Transforming industrial design (surface models) into 3D and 2D considering DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFS (Design for Sales).
- Support with Mechanics CAD engineering in CATIA V5 .
- Reviews (CAD model review, cross functional review, engineering and document review).
- Support Project milestone planning.
- Maintain DFMEA.
- Creation of Engineering BOM.
- Participate in feasibility studies with suppliers and manufacturing to optimize cost, quality and timing.
- Prototype sample fabrication.
- Support with verification of construction and modules.
- Document your efforts.
- Work in a global environment with colleagues around the globe.
What You Need to Be Successful
- An ended 4th semester bachelor University education with passed examination.
- 3D Engineering skills, preferably Catia.
- Learner in mechanical design of industrial designed products, with requirements to surface finish and visual appearance.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Knowledge of module architecture process.
- Can evaluate ideas, according to requirements and criteria, selecting the best solution.
