Primary Responsibilities

• Leads onsite assessments to drive overall supplier improvement

• Evaluates supplier performance, management, capacity, and production readiness

• Evaluates key supplier performance and applies sustainable counter measures and actions to facilitate improvement

• Identifies and removes significant barriers to the implementation of continuous improvement (CI) for suppliers to improve on-time delivery and quality

• Engages the senior management of key suppliers to initiate appropriate major improvement programs to achieve and sustain high levels of performance

• Develop and drive quality improvement plans by coordinating root cause identification and implementing corrective actions

• Plans, directs, and reports all activities relating to improvement of on time delivery and quality performance for multiple suppliers

• Travel up to 70% domestically and internationally as needed

  Basic Qualifications

• Ability to effectively operate in a high-paced environment, with a bias for action and change

• Advance degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply chain, Quality, Operations or Lean

• Experience with Continuous Improvement & quality Tools (VSM, 8D, Problem solving…)

• Project Management experience

• Experience MS office suite

  Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with on-site supplier management or operations

• Experience in communicating with and presenting to senior-level leadership

• Experience in SAP

• Aerospace experience
