Job description
As a Support Specialist based in Torino, you will join the Tender Management team based in Geneva, which includes a Product Owner and a Business Analyst. You will provide 1st line support to our global users, guide them through product usage, and troubleshoot technical issues. Additionally, you will interact with our Tender Management solution vendor, escalating user-reported bugs, creating support tickets, and following up with the vendor’s support team. Your role will also include regular interactions with the development teams responsible for providing the data to the Tender Management platform.
This role requires a tech-savvy individual with experience in a global support setup, preferably within the logistics or shipping industry.ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide accurate product information and support for the Tender Management platform to users worldwide
- Collaborate with the Geneva-based team to resolve technical issues and improve user experience
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure expected data is delivered to the platform
- Interact with the Tender Management solution vendor, escalating bugs, creating support tickets, and following up with the vendor’s support team
- Assist in the integration and maintenance of the Tender Management platform within the internal ecosystem through manual testing
- Conduct training sessions
- Create and maintain documentation to help users understand and utilize the platform effectively
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues
- Perform product maintenance and configuration
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a Software QA tester or help desk role, ideally in a software company and in a global setup
- Professional-level fluency in both written and spoken English
- Basic understanding of APIs, including input parameters, payload, JSON, and XML
- Customer-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and become an expert in freight procurement and the Tender Management platform
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and self-motivated with keen attention to detail
