💰 £25k-£40k DOEAn established manufacturing group is seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Manager to lead the implementation of its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy. Based in West Yorkshire, this role sits at the heart of the organisation’s journey toward Net Zero and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Compliance, Technical, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and coordinating the delivery of ambitious ESG goals, embedding sustainability into operations and product development while ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practice. From managing ISO 14001 certification and Higg Index leadership to driving supplier engagement and innovation, this is a rare opportunity to make a measurable difference in a fast-paced commercial environment.This role also involves producing ESG reports, developing and tracking sustainability KPIs, and communicating progress effectively to both internal stakeholders and external partners. A key part of the job will be collaborating on new product development and packaging innovation that aligns with sustainability objectives, helping to identify and convert new commercial opportunities rooted in environmental performance.The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a sustainability or ESG-focused role within an operationally complex business.
