Job description

This is an initial 12 month day rate contract opportunity with a client of mine based in Galway. As a Platform Engineer you will have:Qualifications

• Experience in the voice/digital/telephony area
• Proficient in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and software automation
• Knowledge of enterprise-scale platform architecture
• Familiar with web, telephony, and data communication protocols (HTTP, SIP, TLS/SSL, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP, SDP)
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible), and Linux systems
• Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and data networking
• Softphone software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• System backups, reboots, and documentation experience
• Troubleshooting, unit testing, QA, and UAT support experience
