The role

The Fashion and Textile department is the largest department in the school. This role focuses on maintaining the school’s growing national and international reputation in Fashion Design with sustainability, diversity, technical excellence, and digital resilience at the heart of the department.

About You

You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering an excellent standard of teaching at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate level, as well as being able to develop a variety of learning and teaching approaches to deliver an excellent level of education and support. Key to this role is being able to work collaboratively, as well as integrate teaching and research activities to ensure the university and school’s strategies are met. You will be highly motivated, responsible and creative with an advanced level of design and technical creative pattern-cutting skill. You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced in working with a diverse and inclusive team of staff and students, and be able to contribute to, and support the university and school strategies. Relevant academic and industry experience is welcomed.
