Xenics designs, manufactures and markets high-tech opto-electronic products, infrared detectors, cameras and sensors.With HQ in Leuven, Xenics is a key player in the Advanced Imaging business, leveraging high- end technology to serve a diverse range of markets and applications, such as science, industry, security, defence, aerospace, medical, R&D and more.As the company is growing and new companies are joining the Exosens Group, the validation and testing team already consists of +/- 10 employees, spread over 4 locations in Belgium, France and Germany.We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Teamleader and Manager to join the Validation Group. This role is crucial for uniting the validation teams across multiple locations and driving the successful completion of complex projects.Jouw functieAs highly experienced and technically proficient Validation & Testing Teamleader and Manager, you will further stimulate growth, professionalization and harmony between the different (international) teams in the Exosens Group.

• As a coach, you foster a collaborative environment, ensure effective communication, and conduct regular site visits in Leuven, Grenoble and Germany.
• You are able to leverage extensive experience in sensor and PCB technologies to guide and support the team. You’re able to gain trust from your team because of your expertise.
• You prioritize and manage multiple projects, and work closely with Project Managers. You’re not a Project Manager yourself, but you coordinate the tasks of your teams and act as a bridge between different internal stakeholders.
• You will work in close collaboration with many different teams including sensor, firmware, software, mechanical and optical design teams and also some key customers. You develop and execute a long-term vision for the validation team.
• You define and execute validation strategies, innovate methodologies, and ensure efficiency.

Jouw profiel

• You live in Belgium and can commute to Leuven and Tienen. You have excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset, but not a must.
• You have an extensive experience in sensing and sensor technologies, strong knowledge of test equipment, and a proven track record in validation engineering.
• You are ready for a next step in your career and have the ambition to lead and unite diverse teams, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ideally, you already have experience with project management tools (eg. SCRUM methodologies), so you can manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Your attitude can be described as solution-oriented, proactive and positive, and you have the ability to work under pressure because of an ambitious growth mindset within the company.
