As a Technical Department Manager in the Imaging Chain Cluster, you will lead a team of 15-25 engineers working on software for minimally invasive systems. Your focus will be on talent management, process improvements, and delivering high-quality software within budget and deadlines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, lifecycle management, and field operations.Responsibilities:
– Lead and develop a technical software team.
– Ensure high-quality, serviceable, and reliable product introductions and maintenance.
– Define and implement process improvements.
– Manage supplier, partner, and internal stakeholder relationships.
– Contribute to healthcare innovation with cutting-edge technology.
– Support a hybrid work environment for work-life balance.Requirements:
– MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
– 5+ years in technical software development, with experience in people & project management.
– Expertise in healthcare regulatory standards (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, etc.).
– Experience in real-time C++ code design is a plus.
– Strong knowledge of healthcare products, interoperability standards (DICOM, FHIR), Windows/Linux, firmware, and hardware.
– Experience in testing and quality assurance is a plus.Other Information
