Job Title Technical Department Manager Image QualityJob DescriptionTechnical Department Manager Image QualityJoin Philips as a Technical Department Manager Image Quality in the Imaging Chain Cluster, where you will be leading a high performing team responsible for the overarching X- ray image quality.Your Role:

  • As the Technical Department Manager, you will lead the Image Quality department of approximately 15 engineers located mainly in the Netherlands and define the group composition including required proficiencies, resources and skills.
  • Ensure successful introduction of image quality improvements in our market-leading product, as well as resolving issues and complaints related to image quality.
  • Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable tubes and generators in our systems.
  • Define and implement process improvement activities.
  • Handle relationships with customers, as well as with internal partners like Innovation, Development, Operations, Application Specialists, Customer Services and Marketing.

You’re the Right Fit If:

  • MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, (bio-)medical engineering or related field, with 5+ years of technical development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management with strong communication skills.
  • Experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills and a continuous improvement attitude.
  • Experienced with medical imaging or image optimization.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare products (preferably IGT-S) and hardware development / maintenance.
  • Experience in understanding of X-ray physics and operation principles is considered a plus.
  • Experience in cross-functional alignment (including customers and suppliers) in order to realize the optimal integral result.
