It’s an international company and they continue to manage the company and Irish site in the tradition of the company founder, thus ensuring continuity and security.In this role you will manage the Technical Documentation department, including all department functions processes and responsibilities.In this role you will:
- Coordinate and manage technical documentation ensuring compliance to work schedules, project timelines and contracts.
- Manage compliance with relevant standards, corporate guidelines, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers as required to obtain sub-supplier documentation.
- Investigate and implement new tools and techniques for production of documentation.
- Manage the development of the content editing system.
- Map the documentation process, identify areas for process improvement, and implement. Compile/develop departmental procedures.
- Technical documentation department staff recruitment, employee development and supervision.
Ideally you will have:
- Third Level Qualification in Engineering or relevant discipline
- Management experience within a technical organisation.
- Experience in a regulated industry, preferably with a manufacturing background.
- Goal-driven individual with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to comprehend, simplify and restructure technical information for different target audiences.
- European language would be desirable.
