Reporting to the Senior Director for New Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful introduction of new product technologies in well-established value chains, focusing on operational upscaling, industrialization, and implementation.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the introduction of new product technologies into existing engineering and procurement processes.
- Coordinate closely with project teams and engineering departments to analyse and manage technical risks, and implement mitigation actions.
- Oversee final stages of product development, ensuring seamless industrialization, prototype manufacturing, and product implementation.
- Collaborate on structural design, materials selection, and manufacturing processes for unbonded flexible pipes and subsea equipment.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and engineering standards, focusing on power control systems, high voltage power equipment, for offshore environments.
- Document conclusions, define mitigation strategies, and drive the technical solutions to overcome challenges using solid engineering insights.
Key Requirements:
- Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Material Engineering (M.Sc., B.Sc., or PhD).
- Solid experience in risk management, project coordination, and engineering execution.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Deep technical background in structural design, electrical systems, and control systems for offshore operations.
- Familiarity with unbonded flexible pipe systems, design methodologies, and offshore equipment is a plus.
- Self-driven with an ability to motivate others and solve complex technical problems.
