What you will be doing

As a Technical Project Manager specializing in implementation of technical stack for Data Governance, Catalogue & Lineage, you will spearhead our mission to make data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (F.A.I.R) across different areas within Novo Nordisk.

Your primary role will revolve around the meticulous planning, execution, and delivery of this pivotal transformation, ensuring its alignment with the organizational objectives and stakeholder requirements. In addition, you will take charge of financial tracking and reporting.

Additionally, your responsibilities include:

-Leading the configuration, and implementation of Semantic Layer components to enable F.A.I.R principles for our data assets including Data Catalogue
-Creating and supporting collaboration across various teams within and outside the Global Data Office
-Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and align project objectives with business goals
-Coordinating testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
-Working closely with QA teams to address defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
-Discussing technical solutions with other engineers and the architecture teams where and when necessary
 

You will be part of a team (fellow PMs, Engineers, QA, Architects, UX, Cloud, Product Owners, Data Governance and EIM leads etc). that is building exciting new features for the Semantic Layer.

What we scout for

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with most of the following:

-Educational degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field, and related accreditations would be a plus
-+5 years of experience in Project Management with a focus on Data (governance, analytics, management), and previous experience in a technical role
-Exposure to cloud data platforms (like Azure, AWS

, GCP) and deep understanding of data cataloging concepts tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Glue etc.)
-Demonstrated experience in building large and scalable we applications
-Working knowledge of Ontology, taxonomies, glossaries, Data Contracts etc. will be preferred
On a personal level, you are proactive and goal-oriented, with excellent communication skills and capable of

establishing rapport, building and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
