The College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities is a vibrant element of the University of Lincoln, which is based in the heart of this thriving, beautiful and friendly city. The College Technical Services Team is made up of over 30 highly skilled and specialist staff, who provide a wide range of services and support to students and academic staff from across the numerous schools within the College. 

We are seeking a technician to work within our conservation laboratories, working with a large range of historic objects and supporting the Conservation programmes and students. Our successful candidate will assist with the oversight of four laboratories and provide specialist support to students working independently and academic staff during taught sessions.  

We are looking for an individual with a good general level of experience in the conservation of mixed material objects and the historic technology involved in their manufacture.   Experience of social history and world cultures object conservation will be highly valued.   

The post is a part time permanent role working 26 hours per week split over 3.5 days. Full training in university policies and procedures will be given to the right candidate.
