Applications are invited for the following post: Technician- Sch of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Sciences (2 Posts) (Permanent Wholetime) (Reference: 778/SH/OD & 44/SH/OD) The successful candidate will be responsible to the President, Director, Head of Sch, Assistant Head of Sch, and Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer for the administration and development of technical facilities within University, College/Directorate, School, Department, Function level. S/He will be required to work closely with students, management, academic, technical and other staff. Hours of Work: A 36.5-hour working week is in operation. This can be reviewed by collective agreement, with the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science. Having regard to the nature of the work, attendance outside these hours may be required from time to time. Location: The successful candidate will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Grangegorman and Tallaght. Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Technician Salary Scale i.e. €35,429 gross per annum (new entrants) or €38,500 gross per annum. Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Incremental credit may apply inline with university policy.
