Your future responsibilities :
Bostik, an adhesive segment of the Arkema group, is looking for its future Technology Operations Manager for its Head Office in Colombes (92). Reporting directly to the Global Operations Director, you will be the process manager for your scope and technology portfolio. You will be responsible for harmonising and optimising the process in order to optimise costs and quality and ensure that capacity meets demand, including future growth opportunities.
In this role, your main tasks will be as follows:
– Global process expert / referent :
o Master current processes in his/her technology scope. In his/her perimeter, map the current process and assets in place for each technology, define state of the art process
o Propose process improvement and productivity programs
o Support the plant in case of issue (troubleshooting)
o Support transfer of products between plants
o Support the scale-up of products in plants
– Animate and lead the network of process referent in the plants :
o Act as the central figure driving collaboration between process expert in the plants
o Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices across plants worldwide.
o Organize regular forums, workshops, and training sessions to sustain engagement and momentum
– Quality / Productivity optimization in his scope :
o Track operational performances in his scope : benchmark per techno and per workshop
o Productivity roadmap construction.
o Fully in charge of the execution of the roadmap of his/her technology scope
o Prioritize initiatives based on their potential impact and feasibility.
– Investment Roadmap :
o Design a clear roadmap that defines key priorities and strategic actions for the technology.
o Propose and manage projects at global level to support growth of business
o Integrate new acquisition: productivity plan, CAPEX
o Be close to the business to capture the needs and support the business in formalizing their needs into operational actions
– Development of new technologies :
o Define state of the art process for each technology
o Develop new process to follow the market demand
The profile we’re looking for :
– You have a degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical) with experience in the chemical field and processes and at least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or in a process engineering role.
– You have the ability to communicate effectively and work in an international environment.
– You have proven project management skills, strong analytical skills, an understanding of figures, good leadership and are able to multi-task.
– You have the ability to work in a matrix organisation and to lead multicultural teams.
Willing to travel regionally/globally
Given the Group’s international dimension, fluency in English is required.
