Terminal & Ports Contract Manager, Ocean Procurement EURWe are seeking a Terminal & Ports Contract Manager for EUR Ocean Procurement, responsible for managing and optimizing terminal & port agreements for key locations across Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, preferably with an operational background, and a proactive mindset to drive value beyond the contract. Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, performance management obsession mindset, the ability to influence senior decision-makers, and a strategic approach to cost efficiency and schedule reliability improvement.We OfferWe offer an exciting opportunity to be a part of Europe Regional Ocean Contract Management team in Maersk. You will work with experienced and dedicated people in a regional team creating significant impact on performance of our contracts and ability to deliver on our targets. As part of your responsibilities, you will enable the business to take informed and contract conscious decisions, in compliance with contracted terms. You will be driving performance management, innovation of contracting processes, compliance & data management on a regional level. You will be also a part of global Contract Management community representing the EUR region, develop global standards, and help to strengthen our global function. The high performance of our contracts has a direct impact on the quality of service with our customers and suppliers and thereby a key component of final customer experience. This is also an opportunity to work with our Global ESG, compliance, legal, process and digital / platforms teams to deliver on enterprise priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of strategic terminal & port supplier contracts in EUR, focusing on performance management ownership, communication, operationalization, and compliance.Contract Communication & Operationalization:
- Ensure awareness of contract terms and execution approach.
- Conduct effective contract handovers to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain rate management systems & contract visibility dashboards.
- Translate contracts into actionable formats for Service Level Agreements (SLAs), payments, and master data.
Performance Management & Compliance:
- Maximize contract value by identifying risks/opportunities and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Leading without authority in influencing key decisions to bring about positive business outcomes
- Ensure contractual compliance and implement action plans for non-compliant contracts.
- Incorporate feedback from contract execution into renegotiations.
- Align roles and responsibilities for performance management across teams.
- Drive innovation in contract performance management.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance with contracted terms.
- Ensure timely contract renewals and drive payment performance.
- Maintain terminal performance dashboards.
- Monitor compliance with legal and policy guidelines.
- Support ESG screening and supplier performance improvement.
- Coordinate terminal & port cost plans with sourcing and procurement teams.
- Assist in additional contracting activities and support global Contract Management plans.

- Experience in procurement, compliance, with strong operational knowledge/ performance roles a key benefit
