Join us in connecting people to commerce in this vital, rewarding role.This is a hybrid role, working on site four days a week, also with travel to Glostrup and SkanderborgManage a large team of field service engineers delivering onsite break fix solutions to retail customers in the south of the UK. Manages team efforts to install, debug and provide technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, mainly on customer premises. Ensures accurate, timely and consistent provision of scheduled inspection, cleaning and other services including minor product repairs. Inspects and / or manages inspection of products for correct operation and resolves noted issues and / or escalates according to established procedure. Ensures all service and related support activity is performed according to contracted customer agreements and is delivered in a manner that enhances customer satisfactionResponsibilities:
- You will oversee end-to-end Field Service delivery within a regional territory, coordinating with other departments to ensure high-quality service and focus on developing your team and partner network to enhance operational and financial efficiency.
- Ensure service excellence and continuous improvement in meeting Service Level Agreements, managing costs, and addressing business and human challenges.
- Collaborate across internal functions within a matrix structure to exceed operational and commercial goals.
- Deliver top maintenance services in line with contractual obligations, and regularly assess resource and skill sufficiency, taking action with the Dispatch Team to meet daily business needs.
- Manage the set-up of any new support/maintenance services within a defined territory, including
ensuring sufficient resource/skill levels/team training and tools are in place before the start of
any new service. * End to end management of projects within territory, e.g. Peak delivery, Pilots, FCOs etc.
- Team adherence to customer onsite attendance procedures, debrief quality, recording of
accurate data and all chargeable / avoidable fault calls are identified and reported. * Parts management in accordance with logistics procedures.
- Provide leadership to designated employees and communicate corporate, local targets and
frameworks, providing clear direction by managing process adherence and actively work to
reduce non-compliance. * Produce monthly management reports and engineer scorecards to track team and individual performance, identifying improvement areas to meet annual KPI goals. Implement training plans by arranging internal and external courses to support ongoing team development.
- Recruitment, onboarding and induction of new team members and carrying out regular reviews
to enable new employees to successfully complete probation. * Fleet management for direct reports – vehicle orders, penalty fines, breakdown/service andmaintenance. * Regular face to face meetings with management team and direct reports to promote positiveengagement, teamwork and develop/improve engineer performance and progression. * Travel outside of regional territory for Management meetings, site visits, projects.
- Raise Purchase orders and process Goods Receipts for approved purchases within services.
- Complete ad hoc duties and tasks allocated through line management chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 4-6 management experience, ideally within Field Service, Technical, Mechatronic.
- Proven track in managing a high performing team.
- Responsible for supporting delivery of commercial targets.
- Fluent in Dutch and have business English skills (Written and spoken).
- Full clean UK driver license.
