Test Analyst (Data Governance / Data Classification) – 5 months Contract – £400/day via Umbrella – Preston (Hybrid) – SCC FLEX CONTRACTWe’re looking for a detail-driven Test Analyst with hands-on experience in data governance and classification, especially using Microsoft Purview and M365 tools.Your key responsibilities as Test Analyst:

• Design and execute test scripts across ST, SIT, and UAT phases.
• Track progress and defects using Jira (or similar).
• Ensure traceability between tests and requirements.
• Support business users during UAT and contribute to test documentation.
• You will be testing Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Classification Policies, Endpoint DLP

As a suitable Test Analyst, you will have:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in using Jira or similar tools for test management and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with structured testing methodologies and documentation standards.
