In this role, you will be responsible for testing software applications and ensuring the quality of products through various testing techniques and tools. You will collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify and resolve bugs and implement improvements. You will be responsible for executing test plans, creating test cases, and performing both manual and automated testing.
Your Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, compatibility, etc.)
• Troubleshoot technical issues and report findings to the development team
• Create and maintain test documentation and test cases
• Actively contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality
• Automate test cases where possible
• Test integration and system functionality

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated)
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English (written and spoken)

Additional Skills That Are a Plus:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of databases and experience with SQL for executing database queries
