The Test Manager will be responsible for coordinating testing activities within development and maintenance projects. They will oversee the testing related to developments, following the established testing management processes and standards. Additionally, they will contribute to strengthening the implementation of a cross-functional testing governance framework, including the definition of tools, procedures, and best practices necessary to mature the testing teams.Responsibilities:Test Coordination:
- Manage test plans in line with ongoing projects and oversee their implementation by all stakeholders.
- Supervise the start and completion of each testing phase.
- Organize and monitor testing activities involving internal teams (IT and business) as well as external vendors.
- Ensure the proper execution of testing activities from preparation through to reporting, covering various applications and test types.
- Track and address test-related actions daily, escalating risks, blockages, and impacts when needed.
- At project closure, ensure proper handover of test documentation to maintenance teams.
- Depending on project needs, take on additional tasks such as supporting test execution, tracking bugs, verifying test prerequisites (environments, access, data sets, etc.), organizing ad-hoc meetings, etc.
Implementation of Testing Governance:
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the company’s global testing strategy.
- Implement and enforce standardized testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide training and support to teams to promote skill development in best testing practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve the maturity of the testing processes within the teams.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French (C2 level) and English, with strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in test management and coordination.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and technical expertise.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams
Additional InformationThe mission will take place primarily at various company sites (mainly in the Liège area). Remote work is possible for up to 2 days per week.
