Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamWe are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join our Multi Domain Systems Test Management department.As a Test Manager at Terma, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our advanced software solutions. You will be part of the Test Management department, working with experienced testers and test leads within Multi Domain Systems such as Land, Air, Sea, Space, and Cyberspace. Occasionally, you will work on the maturation of methods, tools, and processes, and participate in test activities to ensure project delivery.With a good understanding of system engineering and the verification and validation process, you will be responsible for ensuring that the software product meets quality standards through strategic test planning, team leadership, test execution, automation, and communication with stakeholders.An increasing focus is on CI/CD and several levels of test automation, where all the work we do also comes with a great support from the surrounding software developers, system engineers, other software testers, and all the other technical experts we have.The Test Management department is located across our offices in Lystrup and Søborg.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour responsibilities will cover a wide range of testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions:
- Plan, monitor, and control the integration and verification of the system for a delivery project
- Point of contact for the verification effort
- Plan and drive in all test activities and ensure that the system meets the required standards and specifications
- Support the integration of automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline
- Contribute to a Test Community of Practice: Engage with other test enthusiasts to share knowledge, best practices, and continuously improve testing methodologies and processes
- Continuously Improving Ways of Working: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities
Bring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Software Engineering or a similar field of study
- You are certified in software testing principles (ISTQB, TMAP, or similar)
- You have solid experience with planning and leading test activities in software development
- You have experience with testing of complex systems
- You have knowledge of software development and an understanding of the fundamentals of software testing and the concepts of system engineering, verification and validation
- You understand agile development methods (Scrum) and project-oriented processes as well as test automation frameworks and tools
