Other requirements:
PHD degree in biological sciences or a related field, obtained not earlier than four years prior to the submission deadline (Candidates who obtained their PhD earlier should refer to call No. WB-K-6/2024)
Academic achievements demonstrated by publications in renowned scientific journals, national and international awards, invitations to deliver lectures and seminars, etc.
Submission of a research plan outlining the Candidate’s scientific development including plans for internships and training abroad.
Submission of a teaching proposal that complements the Faculty’s existing offerings.
Prior teaching experience; experience in popularizing science is also desirable.
International experience, e.g., participation in international conferences, postdoctoral positions, internships, and training completed abroad, etc.
Desirable experience in application for research grants .Specific RequirementsRequired documents

A copy of Ph.D. diploma.
A photograph.
A professional CV, including a list of publications.
A motivation letter that includes a research plan and teaching proposal.
Names and contact information (email, phone number) of two academic researchers who can provide information about the Candidate.
A statement in which the candidate confirms having read and accepted the regulations for conducting competitions, as outlined in Ordinance No 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, from 27 September 2019 , defining procedures for conducting a competition for the post of an academic teacher at the University of Warsaw (Monitor UW item 388; English translation)
A consent (by email) from the director of the internal unit of the Faculty of Biology, where the Candidate wishes to be employed, confirming that the unit will provide office and lab space if the Candidate is selected.Additional InformationAdditional commentsApplication submission

The applications will be reviewed by the Competition Committee of the Faculty of Biology in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw from 27 September 2019, as previously mentioned. Candidates will be notified of the interview date (to be conducted online) and the results of the competition by email.
The Faculty of Biology reserves the right to reply to selected applications only and to close the procedure without making a final decision.
