Town Planning Consultant

Penguin Recruitment is excited to partner with one of Ireland’s premier independent town planning consultancies in their search for a talented and driven Town Planner to join their team in Dublin!
This consultancy’s expert team specializes in providing strategic, commercially focused planning advice across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure.
We are looking for ambitious, detail-oriented candidates with strong communication skills who are commercially driven. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional holding a recognized IPI or RTPI accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning. They should have post-graduate experience in Ireland at Planner or Senior level, ideally within the private sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a variety of planning projects, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
* Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, including supporting documents and assessments.
* Provide expert guidance on planning strategy, policy, and regulatory processes.
* Conduct planning research and contribute to development proposals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Mentor and guide junior team members.
* Contribute to business development and expand the company’s portfolio.
