Travel retail is a major profit contributor for the Brand and drives our image in key airports worlwide. Wholesale is the N°1 channel in terms of business for Fragrance & Beauty.

Both TR & Wholesale are businesses done with partners such as Department stores, chains, independent perfumeries and Travel Retail operators.

Our collaboration with these retailers is key for the success of Chanel and will foster our differentiation in these environments. To build our image and boost our sales while securing profitability stakes, we need to elevate our visibility and brand expression, to provide seamless and relevant client experiences, and to better address the clients. 

YOUR MISSIONS

As part of the Global F&B Business Development TR & Wholesale team, you will be actively involved in collaboration with global F&B teams and regions teams in:

  • Building and sharing TR & Wholesale distribution knowledge and understanding
  • Developing TR & Wholesale key distribution subjects of today and tomorrow.

Chanel TR & WHS distribution knowledge

  • Create and manage Chanel distribution follow-ups (top doors, top retailers…)
  • Monitor Chanel regions distribution and competition activities (included experiences & services)
  • Participate to the worldwide distribution knowledge across regions to nourrish the strategic vision
  • Share largely wholesale & TR culture and insights among the global F&B teams.

Project Management with Global Division teams

  • Contribute and drive the development & implementation of projects related to TR & WHS networks
  • with the global expert teams and the regions (ex : new services, new connected experiences, new POS concepts…)
  • Assortment & product launches : support international marketing teams to define the assortment and distribution guidelines when specific, and share regions practices.

Operational monitoring to support regions

  • Define yearly campaign and activation priorities for Wholesale & Travel Retail.
  • Participate to global presentations on TR & WHS priorities and 3-year strategy (approx. 4 times / year, ex: MTP, International meetings, Tax Free World exhibition…).
  • Help building and sharing knowledge and experience between regions on key distribution subjects (ex : client data in multi-brand retail environment, top WW Department Stores & TR doors…)
  • Manage and animate the F&B TR platform (specific TR content such as POS openings, data sharing or competition watch …).

Business analysis

  • Create yearly Chanel business reviews presentations
  • Chanel TR Monthly sell-out : consolidate data from regions and share the reports
  • TR market data sell-out (TRPR panel) : create Chanel database with regions to fill TRPR panel and build yearly report

YOUR PROFILE

Wholesale F&B knowledge

You experienced wholesale and / or TR F&B challenges and have a successful experience of 3 to 5 years in a market with a direct sales relationship with retailers (field or HQ teams).

Communication / collaboration

Curious and agile, you are gifted with relationship and communication skills, thorough and organized, and you are used to work in a team and in collaboration with multiple teams on common subjects.

You are at ease with strategic and visible presentation.

Self-driven & analytics

You know how to be self-driven, and proactive in project management (lead and respect of timing).

Detail-oriented and reliable, you are very comfortable with figures and have solid analytical and synthesis skills.

You are at ease with office 360 tools (esp. Excel & PowerPoint).

Fluent English compulsory (spoken and written). French is an added value.
