Job Title: Trade Sales Consultant – Transaction Services Sales ItalyReports to: Head of Transaction Services Sales Italy – Hierarchically and FunctionallyYour role & work environmentYou will be part of the Transaction Services Sales team of ING WB in Italy, in charge of supporting the origination, development and implementation of Trade Finance business and solutions for WB Italy clients.Trade Finance Solutions together with Payment and Cash Management, and Working Capital Solutions, is part of the Transaction Services Sales team offering to local large corporates and subsidiaries of international clients operating in Italy, the best-in-class transaction banking solutions of ING.Your key responsibilitiesCommercial attitudeYou’re willing to invest in a long-term relationship with our clients and prospects in order for ING to become their primary bankYou’re result driven and look for healthy growth of your portfolio revenues, in Italy and abroadYou spot business opportunities in your conversations with your clients and organise pitches to generate business and reinforce ING’s position in the marketStakeholder managementYou have effective networking and relationship building skills allowing to quickly earn the confidence of mandate holders, senior management and clients, to ensure smooth transactions and processesYou will be part of virtual client teams, contributing to activities with local or international relationship managers, to ensure the proper positioning of ING Trade Finance offer. You love to question the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.As a Trade Sales Consultant you will also need:Academic degree / MBA in finance, economics, law or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in a Trade Finance activities sales roleYou have a strong product knowledge and a deep understanding of clients needs when it comes to “Trade Finance business”Knowledge of all principal Trade Finance products and the applicable regulations including is mandatory like UCP600, URDG758, ISP98, URC522, ISBP745, CIVIL CODE.Knowledge of swift messaging is required, specifically regarding the MT7xx category and the various options and fields.The ability to organize and structure complex fronting transaction is required, as well knowledge of the Italian Law 285/1997Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools in the field of Trade product will be considered a must, however the target of clients for the bank’s growth strategy is medium-sized enterprises.Experience in Working Capital Solutions is a strong plusExperience with large corporate clients is an advantage,Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Italian and English (Knowledge of the French language will be considered an added value)To give and ask for constructive feedbackThe ability to get things done effectively and efficientlyTo be a team player who loves to gain, deepen and share knowledgeWorking conditions: Full TimeDuration: PermanentLocation: Milan (hybrid)About INGING offers many opportunities to build a diverse and rewarding career.
