The objective of the team is to proactively perform ongoing monitoring and reviews to meet regulatory, payment network and banking partner requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and action transaction monitoring alerts in line with the company’s policy ensuring full investigation is given to identify potentially suspicious transactions taking into account previous transactions etcAbility to identify and obtain required documentation to ensure adherence to all regulatory, oversight and procedural requirements for the processing of all transactionsCreate and maintain accurate and concise records of all investigations undertaken including details on the rationale for any decisions madeSeek to build an understanding of the profile of customers within our KYB/KYC framework highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert processAbility to balance regulatory requirements whilst demonstrating and maintaining a strong customer-centric approachAbility to make and stand over a decision in the absence of full informationAssist with the preparation of departmental management information reportsProvide input to the maintenance of the departmental processes and proceduresProvide advice and support to the business units on the identification of areas of risk because of transaction monitoring trendsSupport induction process for new team members both within the Transaction Monitoring team and other operational teamsAny other associated duties required from time to time to meet the departmental responsibilities and goalsThe PersonSubject matter knowledge and experience18 months experience in a similar Trasaction Monitoring / AML roleAbility to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting tight processing deadlinesStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to deal with all levels in a confident and professional mannerAbility to balance regulatory requiremnts whilst demonstrating and maintaining a strong customer centric approachAbility to make and stand over a decision in the absence of full informationSkills and characteristicsHighly proactive and self-starting, whilst also effective in a team environmentPositive and flexible attitude to changeAbility to think clearly and logicallyIn return Zai are offeringGlobal market exposure in an agile & flat organization where your ideas and contributions will have strong impacts on the company’s growth and successA company culture with an innovative, inclusive & collaborative mindset where you will learn something new every day, alongside amazing professionalsA fun and flexible work environmentCompetitive salary packages & benefits while ensuring constant professional development with your line manager & our L&D programsOur Equal Opportunity Employer CommitmentZai are equal opportunity employers committed to creating a diverse environment for its workforce.
