This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Recruitment Team. The UK Conversion Manager is a key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department.

You will provide leadership to the UK Conversion team delivering on key elements of the strategy focusing on activity working with UG and PG prospects from application through to enrolment. The team will develop, lead, and deliver conversion activities at both a cross-institutional and faculty level. You will also lead on growth of our student numbers through improved conversion activities, including the university applicant days, and delivery of our annual Clearing operation, as outlined in our UK recruitment strategy.

You will also be a lead contact for our faculties, managing three UK Conversion Officers (who are each responsible for operational delivery of a faculty’s conversion plan, but also lead on university-wide project areas). You will work closely with other teams across the department, directorate, and wider university to ensure a cohesive and streamlined approach to recruitment.

In a fast-paced, every changing sector, it is anticipated you will have a proactive and innovative approach to recruitment delivery at the University.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships and experience of account management. You will also have experience of managing staff and budgets.

We are seeking to employ an individual with an understanding of the HE student recruitment lifecycle for both post-18 and “non-traditional learners” and experience of delivering promotional activity (including appropriate targeting, monitoring of KPIs). You will have experience of using a CRM system with strong data inputting and accuracy and the ability to write reports including analysis of data.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships and experience of account management. You will also have experience of managing staff and budgets.

You will be required to work frequently during the evening and weekends to support Recruitment and Conversion Activity across our Wolverhampton City, Walsall, and Telford campuses. On some occasions, there may be a requirement to travel away from the University both within the West Midlands region and throughout the UK.
