The client is looking for a Sales Manager Belux to join his team and develop the Sales entity for BeLux market.As the Sales Manager BELUX you will be responsible for developing the commercial strategy of the Fini brand in the Belgian & Luxemburg region. Next to the opportunity to grow the Belgian sales team over time, you will contribute to the development and strength of our overall Benelux business.You will report directly to the Country Managing Director.Job content

  • Responsible for all Belux key customers and their development, being it in retail or OOH
  • Further develop the sales force team in Belux
  • Responsible for setting the objectives, leading negotiation process with customers/distributors
  • Ensure achievement of agreed targets/KPI’s
  • Monitor big customer’s performance vs defined KPI’s
  • Responsible for the execution of Channel Category plans
  • Provide quality and on time information on demand forecast by customer, report on market dynamics, competitor activities
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies, local trade policies, safety and local regulations
  • Develop, coach and motivate direct sales force (key accounts and/or area managers)

Sales management|FMCG – Food

  • Master degree in economics or similar graduation
  • 10 years professional experience within FMCG/Food companies of which 7-8 years relevant experience in sales in Belgium
  • Proven track record in key account management
  • Prior experience in (trade) Marketing is a strong bonus
  • Seasoned negotiator knowing all the ins & outs of the Belgian and Luxemburg trade
  • Highly affluent with numbers and pricing: margin gatekeeper, managing deferred discounts, RFA, counterparts, …
  • Very good knowledge of trade marketing techniques and tools
  • Managing field sales teams with proven achievement of sales kpi’s
  • You are dynamic with a strong can-do attitude that gets energy from kickstaring and shaping a new organisation
  • Strong team player
  • Result driven with a customer ànd consumer focus
  • Autonomous, highly structured and organized
  • Positive and solution oriented mindset, pragmatic, priority focused
  • You are fluent in both Dutch & French (verbal & written) as those are paramount for your contacts with the trade in Belgium & Luxemburg. Bilingual is preferred, if not a very good knowledge of the 2nd non-native language is required. English is your natural 3rd language
