We are ambitious for patients, highly accountable for impact, always doing the right thing.The Director, Market Access, Government Affairs, and Communications is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic market access (MA), government affairs (GA), and communications (COMS) plans for ViiV Spain to secure optimal patient access for ViiV´s HIV products and drive both internal and external communication.This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, government agencies, regional and hospital institutions and healthcare professionals, as well as media agencies, to ensure products are accessible and reimbursed appropriately and that ViiV is valued as preferred partner with key stakeholders. This role will be a member of the ViiV Spain Leadership TeamKey Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Market Access:Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies to support product value proposition based on deep knowledge of the bodies involved in health technology assessments and their expectations. Evolve market access strategies over time through monitoring of access environment and competitive landscape and coordinate cross functionally to ensure alignment.Lead role in analysing, designing and recommending pricing and reimbursement negotiation strategies, in close collaboration with ViiV European and global teams, while partnering with cross-company colleagues for best execution both at the national and regional level. Anticipate new legislation and its impact on the portfolio.Lead Market Access focused collaborative efforts with brand, global, finance, and others in support of best-in-class launch strategy development for new to market brands and new indications as well as portfolio strategy for in-line brands.Drive cross functional access strategy synergies with broader brand strategy at company level inclusive of customer perspective and evolving access and environmental considerations levering emerging digital strategies.Stakeholder Engagement and Institutional Relations:Build and maintain meaningful relationships with payers, decision-makers, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders & advance company interests and positions in pharmaceutical industry associationsGovernment Affairs:Lead the development and execution of the affiliate government and corporate affairs strategy and plan synthesizing complex legislative and regulatory dynamics into actionable business strategies, providing clear and strategic advice to internal stakeholdersBuild and maintain meaningful relationships with payers, policy, and advocacy networks, decision-makers, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders.Protect and advance the company’s interests before legislative bodies, government agencies, policymakers, diplomats, politicians, trade/business associations, patient/practitioner groups, and other allies and influencers.Represents ViiV in key external forums, fostering relationships with national and regional stakeholders, trade organizations, and national policy bodies to advance ViiV´s missionCommunications:Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support business objectives and enhance corporate reputation aligning communication strategies with corporate goals and ensure consistency in messaging.Lead the development of effective internal communications plans to keep employees informed and engaged.Regulatory Compliance and Budget Management:Ensure all market access activities comply with local regulations and industry standards and oversee the market access budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.Team Leadership and Transversal Management:Lead and mentor a team of market access coordinators, government affairs & communications, developing a high-performing teamWhy You!We will love your high accountability for impact performance, your ambition for patients and strategic curiosity, and your collaboration and influence abilities. How you work is as important as what you deliver.Required Experience & Skills: ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Economics, or a related field.Significant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with required experience in market access and preferably in government affairs and/or commercial functions.Strong knowledge of the Spanish hospital pharmaceutical environment.Experienced managing high-performing teams.Proven track record of successful market access strategies and local implementation.Experience working with public and private healthcare systems in Spain.SkillsExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to influence and build effective relationships.Thorough knowledge of healthcare systems and government programs in Spain.Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to optimize market access and reimbursement outcomes.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure adherence to local laws and industry standards.Ability to develop and execute digital engagement strategies.Excellent written and verbal English skillsWillingness to learn, open to feedback.Be a role model on ViiV Leadership skills (Focus, Develop, Care & Motivate).Highly Preferred:Advanced degree (MHA, MPH, MBA, or PhD) with a focus on health economics, public health, or business administrationInterested in Joining the Team?Please apply via our online portal providing your CV and Cover Letter.
