Would you like to help give children and young people a desire to learn and the belief that they can thrive in school? The Youth Red Cross is currently looking for volunteers for our learning café in SvendborgWhat to do as a homework helper
As a homework helper, you make a huge difference for children and young people who have academic challenges and need support. Our homework café is much more than just homework: It is a social space where children and young people can get help with exactly what they are struggling with in a relaxed and positive way. It is also a place where there is room to be frustrated, take a break, have fun or tell stories – and you are also welcome to come even if you do not have homework.The learning café is open every Monday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.What do you get out of being a volunteer?

Who are you?
We are looking for someone between the ages of 18 and 35 who has the time, desire and energy to spend two afternoons a month helping children and young people with their homework in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
