Your missionWhat you’ll be doingWe’re looking for a motivated Vice President (VP) of Operations to lead all functions related to the operational side of our marketplace. As the VP of Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and scalable processes across all of our operational functions — from nurse quality to live shift fulfillment and real-time operations. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing nurse supply, and ensuring top-tier experiences for healthcare centers and nursing professionals alike.Operations LeadershipLiveOps Management: Oversee real-time operations to ensure smooth shift fulfillment, troubleshooting issues, and providing on-the-spot support to our nurses and healthcare partners.Quality Assurance: Lead efforts to ensure that every nurse on our platform meets the highest quality standards. You will implement and optimize processes to maintain a rigorous vetting and onboarding process.Shift Fulfillment: Spearhead the operational strategy for shift fulfillment, ensuring that nurses are efficiently matched with healthcare facilities based on their skills, preferences, and the center’s needs. Develop and refine our fulfillment processes to improve fill rates.Budget Planning & Cost Optimization: Oversee operational budgeting and cost management. You’ll ensure that resources are allocated effectively while balancing cost efficiency with high-quality service delivery.Reporting & Analytics: Implement and manage a comprehensive suite of KPIs related to operational performance. Use data insights to drive improvements across supply-side operations, fulfillment rates, and overall nurse satisfaction.Team Leadership & Development: Manage a growing team of five direct reports. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing the team to scale operations while maintaining high standards of excellence.Strategic ResponsibilitiesOperational Strategy: Define and execute our long-term operations strategy. Identify key areas for improvement and growth while ensuring the scalability of processes.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, business development) to ensure alignment and support the overall business objectives.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with our nurses and healthcare facilities, acting as the key operational point of contact to ensure customer and nurse satisfaction.Your profileWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of building a scalable operations infrastructure while maintaining a human-centric approach. We’re especially looking for individuals with:Experience: 6-8 years of experience in fast-paced industries, strategy and/or operations consulting, or operational leadership roles. Previous experience in operations within a marketplace business is a plus.Analytical Skills: Strong data interpretation skills to track KPIs and make data-driven decisions. Ability to identify trends and proactively optimize performance.Leadership & Ownership: A proven track record of leading, motivating, and scaling high-performing teams, while taking full ownership of operations strategy and beyond.Humility & Customer-Centricity: We value individuals who are humble, empathetic, and customer-focused.
