ISM Recruitment is delighted to partner with Our client to recruit for the role of Warehouse Coordinator / Deputy Facility Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional contribute to the smooth operation of a specialised facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, stock control, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
” Unload deliveries and load consignments safely and efficiently.
” Book in filled products and empty cylinder returns, scanning cylinders in and out.
” Liaise with the International & EIRE Sales Coordinator for customer order requirements.
” Work with the Harp Q&E Manager regarding waste returns to Wales.
” Consolidate and book out empty cylinders to the UK.
” Receive, barcode, and weigh in waste cylinders, ensuring safe storage.
” Follow all warehouse tasks and work instructions diligently.
” Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and environmental regulations.
” Maintain accurate stock control and warehouse management system records.
” Conduct routine fire safety checks and report any accidents or near misses.
” Ensure proper filing of paperwork and adherence to legal requirements.
” Assist with council inspections and compliance with waste management regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
” Counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
” Strong IT skills with experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
” Experience in a warehouse environment, including stock control and logistics.
” Knowledge of hazardous waste handling is advantageous.
” Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and normal colour vision required.
” Must be willing to attend a one-day waste management course.
Salary and Benefits:
” Competitive salary based on experience.
” 10% Reduction off a range of ISM Training Courses (excluding driving lessons).
Hours of Work:
” Full-time position: 30 hours per week across 5 days
