In this role you’ll be working as part of our Global Supply Chain organization, managing a team of 3 to 12 people, efficiently directing warehouse operations, optimizing material flow, and overseeing resources. Additionally, you’ll participate in a project which includes planning, implementing, and launching a new high-storage warehouse.

What you will do: 

-Run an efficient warehouse operation
-Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines to meet planned schedules
-Identify and recommend systems improvements
-Support organizing and participate in cycle counting and stock takes
-Ensure that any computerized systems are accurate and up-to-date
-Seek ways to optimize the operation of warehouse
-Ensure that required health and safety standards are met
-Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse
-Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
-Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure that effective cooperation is maintained
 

What you need to have: 

-Minimum 10 years of experience working in a warehouse, with a minimum of 5 years as a Manager for mid-size team (15+)
-Past experience in the ramp up of a brand-new Distribution center or Warehouse is a plus
-Experience in transportation and import/export process
-Lean experience, such as 6 sigma, Kaizen, Value stream design
-Strong PC skills and experience in office applications such as Microsoft Excel
-Experience of working with warehouse system SAP
-Fluent in English
