We are currently looking for an experienced welder to join our team based in Co. Tipperary. Key Responsibilities: Welding & Fabrication: Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on steel and metal structures. Blueprint Reading: Interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics to fabricate components accurately. Requirements: Experience: Proven background in welding and steel fabrication. Technical Skills: Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and work from engineering schematics. Driving License: A full, valid driving license is required. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision, quality, and finish. Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot fabrication and installation issues efficiently. Cutting & Assembly: Use plasma cutters, saws, and other tools to prepare and assemble metal parts. Installation: Assist in the installation of steelwork on-site, working efficiently within a small team. Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and finish. Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Relevant welding certifications or qualifications in fabrication/engineering and previous 3 years working experience in the construction, architectural, or manufacturing sectors are desirable.
