Carne is looking for an operations and people manager to join our growing AML Client Services group.
In this position, you will act as the manager of the Client Services Reporting team. The Client Services Reporting team supports the MLROs/RCs/AMLCOs in the preparation of Board pack materials.
As we seek to meet our growth targets, develop our people, create operational efficiencies, and improve the governance and client experience, there is an ongoing program of work, focused on developing our operating model across people, governance, clients, new business, oversight, technology and change. You will have a role in the continuous development of the Client Services Reporting team and supporting the overall program of work, while maintaining and fostering strong internal and external / client relationships. You will be expected to work closely with MLROs/RCs/AMLCOs, other members of the AML Management team, your own functional team and cross-functional teams within Carne.What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

  • 5 – 6 years experience working in AML in the funds industry.
  • University degree (or equivalent qualification) and ideally with relevant AML, Compliance or legal qualification.
  • People management experience.
  • Operations management experience.
  • Ability to work in our Dublin office.

What is your role and your responsibilities?

  • Acting as the manager of an operations team. Developing relationships within and across teams, working collaboratively to resolve potential challenges.
  • Acting as a people manager, with focus on training and career development of associates/senior associates.
  • Communicating effectively and engaging with others in a warm and professional manner.
  • Adapting to new technologies and managing change.
  • Organising and planning the team’s work effectively. Ensuring delivery of quality and timescales in the short and longer term.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and judge where to focus efforts.
