In this role, you will work with datasets to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions across departments.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in data, combining hands-on experience with a structured learning pathway. You’ll work alongside experienced data professionals and gain exposure to real-world commercial data projects, reporting tools, and client analysis.Key Responsibilities:As a Data Analyst Apprentice, your responsibilities will include:
- Importing and exporting data into SQL database tables
- Manipulating, cleansing, and transforming datasets for reporting and analysis
- Preparing and analysing data driven reports for internal teams and external clients
- Creating dashboards and visualisations using Tableau
- Interpreting trends and patterns to provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Presenting analytical findings in a clear concise format
Skills Required & Personal Qualities
- Have a strong aptitude for analytics, a professional demeanour and possess excellent technical skills.
- Understand how vital the data analyst role is in adding value to the business, and will be confident in decision making, problem solving and communication.
- Be comfortable working independently, managing your workload and prioritising tasks
Educational Requirements:
- Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths and English
- A-Levels (or equivalent), ideally including Computing, Mathematics, or another analytical
subject – or relevant work experience
- Confidence using Excel and a willingness to learn new tools and systems
Future Prospects:
- They will review if there is a role once the candidate has completed the apprenticeship.
