Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester – Manchester

Join Our Expanding Environmental Team in Manchester

We’re seeking a certified Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester to join our growing team based in Manchester This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in Manchester and across the UK, helping improve building performance and sustainability through high-quality testing and reporting.

What You’ll Do

Conduct air tightness testing on domestic and non-domestic buildings across Chester and surrounding areas, in line with ATTMA standards.

Perform sound insulation testing following ANC guidelines and Building Regulations.
*

Prepare detailed, accurate reports with clear, practical recommendations.
*

Work closely with clients, contractors, and site teams in Chester and beyond.
*

Travel to project sites nationwide, representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise.

What We’re Looking For

ATTMA Level 2 certification (Domestic & Non-Domestic).
*

ANC Sound Testing certification.
*

Strong numerical skills (GCSE / A-Level Maths).
*

Full, clean UK driving licence.
*

Proactive, organised, and a confident communicator with strong attention to detail.

Your Day-to-Day

Visiting client sites in Manchester and further afield to complete air tightness and acoustic tests.
*

Setting up, operating, and maintaining testing equipment.
*

Analysing results and producing professional reports.
*

Collaborating with site teams to solve challenges and deliver compliant solutions.
*

Managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
