Product Support Specialist – Oslo, Norway – Heavy Plant & Earthmoving Machinery
LiuGong, a Global Manufacturer specialising in Heavy Plant machinery, are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Support Specialist to build and maintain relationships throughout the region.
 
Role: Product Support Specialist
Area: Oslo, Norway with travel throughout Scandinavia
Salary: 815,000 NOK + bonus + benefits
 
The requirements of the Product Support Specialist will be:

– Conduct field visits to support dealers during service peaks, new product launches, and escalated customer issues.
– Provide technical support for dealers both remotely (phone/email) and on-site.
– Oversee diagnostics, repairs, and warranty claim processes to ensure OEM compliance.

– Manage warranty claims end-to-end, including review, approval, and cost recovery.
– Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues to reduce failure rates and improve product reliability.

– Build strong dealer relationships, ensuring compliance with OEM standards and supporting business growth.

 
The ideal candidate for Product Support Specialist will have:

– Experience within the Construction Machinery sector (excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers).
– Strong knowledge of vehicle/machinery systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
– Fluency in Norwegian and English (written and spoken) required.
– Ability to use service data and KPIs to drive improvements.
– Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and field activities.
– Willingness to travel extensively across Scandinavia, including overnight stays.
