In this role, you will have good knowledge of Asset Plus and Prevention & Diversion assessments, working to keep children and the community safe. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective solutions to youth crime, including working with children living away from home, young people leaving custody, serious youth violence and children who have contextual safeguarding concerns.To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and assessment skills, with the ability to implement targeted and bespoke intervention plans using appropriate resources.
- Working knowledge of research around Contextual Safeguarding, Desistance Theory and Trauma Informed Practice
- Strong organisational skills to manage challenging work and meet tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of court work and case management, with the ability to maintain up-to-date records in line with national and local standards.
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
