Air Conditioning Engineer – Guildford & Southwest
Are you an Air Conditioning Engineer seeking a rewarding role with a company that values quality, expertise, and a collaborative culture? My client, a family-owned leader in engineering solutions, has been delivering exceptional design, fabrication, and maintenance services for over 150 years. They are now looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expert team, installing and servicing air conditioning systems across the Southwest.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: 38,000 – GBP45,000 per annum + door-to-door travel paid
Location: Commuting distance of Guildford
Key Responsibilities for the Air Conditioning Engineer
* Install and commission air conditioning systems, including splits, VRV/VRF, and chillers.
* Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficiency and compliance.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
* Communicate with clients, providing updates and technical support.
* Complete necessary paperwork and ensure regulatory compliance.
The Ideal Air Conditioning Engineer
* Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair, with expertise in splits, VRV/VRF, and chillers.
* F-Gas certified with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
* Skilled in fault finding and problem-solving to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site-based work.
