As our Camera Optical Expert, you would have a directive role in your area of expertise (Camera Optical Design). Your main goal is researching and prototyping mobile phone camera hardware technologies that would lead to successful innovation concepts, technologies and solutions, resulting in competitive advantages for our camera hardware product solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:
Provide analysis and industry insights on the following technologies: optical design; material and manufacturing
Explore further research opportunities on camera hardware optical technologies
Establish industry-academic relationship to support future R&D roadmap planning.
Continuously study and evaluate emerging Optical technologies to guide and assist headquarter to resolve pain points in our complex hardware technologies
This is what you need to be successful in this role:

Deep understanding and strong knowledge of camera optical design
Experienced in successful innovation that leads to camera hardware Optical mass production

Detailed responsibilities:
For expert in optical design, you would have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for optical design for mobile phone imaging lens and new imaging architecture.
Production and verification of the optical design scheme
Patent layout for the lens.
Build a manufacturing-oriented optical design and simulation platform to realize system-level design and simulation applications.
Research cutting-edge technologies and provide technological direction for optical design
Qualifications & additional requirements:

PhD. or post-doctoral qualifications in optics, or related research domains
10+ years of related work experience
Proficient in Zemax /Code V/lighttools

This is full time employee position located in Finland or Germany.
