About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technological vision, strategy, and execution for an innovative company at the forefront of medical wearable technology. This role will drive the development of cutting-edge digital health solutions, ensuring the company remains a leader in regulatory-compliant, high-performance, and AI-powered medical wearables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device development, software engineering, data science, and regulatory compliance (ISO 13485, MDR, FDA 510k, IEC 62304). You will be responsible for leading R&D, overseeing product innovation, ensuring cybersecurity and data privacy, and scaling technology infrastructure to support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

x1F539; Technology & Product Strategy

* Define and execute the technology roadmap for next-generation medical wearables & AI-driven health solutions.
* Drive software, hardware, and data analytics innovation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of technology infrastructure.

x1F539; R&D & Product Development

* Oversee full-cycle product development, from concept to market release.
* Lead hardware, software, and AI/ML integration to improve real-time health monitoring.
* Ensure medical device compliance with ISO 13485, MDR, FDA 510(k), and IEC 62304.
* Guide teams on algorithm development, biosignal processing, and data analytics.

* Lead and mentor engineering, AI, software, and data science teams.
* Build and foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation.
* Work closely with CEO, COO, and regulatory teams to align technology with business goals.

x1F539; Regulatory, Data Security & Compliance

* Ensure adherence to medical regulations (EU MDR, FDA, HIPAA, GDPR).
* Implement robust cybersecurity measures for data privacy and device security.
* Collaborate with regulatory teams to drive successful product certifications.

* Engage with research institutions, healthcare providers, and AI innovators.
* Collaborate with investors, regulatory bodies, and key industry players.

Key Requirements

x2705; Education & Experience

* MSc/PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in medical device, digital health, AI, or software development.
* Proven track record as a CTO, VP of Technology, or Head of R&D in a regulated MedTech environment.

* Strong background in medical wearable devices, AI/ML in healthcare, cloud computing, and IoT.
* Hands-on experience with biosignal processing, sensor technologies, and embedded systems.
* Deep knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA 510(k), and cybersecurity (GDPR, HIPAA).
* Experience with data analytics, AI-driven diagnostics, and scalable cloud platforms.
