About my client:My client, a leader in providing transaction management, deposit, FX, and credit facilities to Investment Fund Services and Corporate Governance businesses, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our dynamic team. Operating globally, my client offer access to advanced processes and technologies, and are a premier providers of custody services for investments in alternative funds.About your role:As Custodial Network Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Network Management in implementing sub-custody delegate due diligence and monitoring program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting annual due diligence reviews, both remote and onsite, of third-party sub-custody delegates.
- Assessing due diligence questionnaire responses provided by appointed third-party firms.
- Maintaining a robust control environment to ensure regulatory obligations associated with safekeeping delegation are met.
- Evaluating third-party delegates’ financial strengths, operational capabilities, and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitoring ongoing risks associated with appointed delegates and implementing contingency strategies as necessary.
- Liaising with delegates to address queries and escalate concerns.
- Preparing management information systems and reports for senior management.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of departmental procedures and controls.
- Promoting awareness of and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Keeping abreast of related business, technical, and regulatory developments.
About You:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in fund services within the European funds industry.
- Experience in Depositary, prime brokerage, and/or global custody services.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Willingness to travel to Europe (potentially up to 5-6 weeks per year).
- Strong Management Reporting skills.
