Manchester city centre – hybrid working between home and once a week in the officeWe’re looking for a digital content manager to join us our customer propositions and communications team.In this role, you’ll deliver creative campaigns end to end across web and app making sure all content and copy is optimised for the channel and fully aligned to the Co-op brand. We’ll also look to you to own the content planning for web and app, working collaboratively with the wider business as a subject matter expert. This is a varied and exciting role where you’ll be working across multiple channels and making a real difference within the team.What you’ll do:

  • advise on and deliver online support for campaigns across web and app, making sure all creative and copy is optimised for channel, user journeys are joined up, and experiences are frictionless
  • manage the content plan for always-on web and app content
  • manage the delivery of Co-op Live presales content in app and web, collaborating with the Co-op Live team
  • work with business units to make sure all content is optimised
  • measure performance towards business objectives, reporting it in a clear way, and using insights to inform future recommendations
  • build strong relationships with colleagues across the business to shape and approve content for web and app
  • manage external agency relationships, working collaboratively with them on content and proposals, making sure it’s aligned to the Co-op brand and follows web and app best practice

This role would suit people who have:

  • an understanding of how to optimise content for web and app to improve user journeys
  • experience of triaging requests or managing multiple requests and prioritising these
  • some knowledge of content design and writing for the web
  • the ability to use data to drive decision making and present this in an understandable way
  • excellent relationship building and influencing skills up to senior level
  • great written and verbal communication skills
