Digital/IT & communication project manager (M/F)

Location: Paris area

As a Digital/IT & communication project manager (M/F), you will be part of a 3-people team (2 Digital Impact Manager and 1 architect) in charge of the communication of our IT use cases and achievements, highlighting the positive impact of our technology solutions. You will be also responsible for championing sustainability within our IT practices, ensuring that our technology initiatives align with environmental and social objectives. Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation of the GBU, you will play a vital role in fostering understanding of our IT contributions while enhancing our sustainability profile.

Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & governance

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management framework, including governance, metrics, budget management and reporting.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to showcase our IT use cases and achievements (business value driven). For each use case ensure that an appropriate governance is implemented (role and responsibilities definition and relevant committees).
  • Define key KPIs to monitor IT initiatives within the GBU, including CSR impact of our IT systems.
  • Align projects objectives with business goals and ensure that projects contribute to ENGIE’s strategic objectives.

Implementation & follow-up

  • Manage the IT project portfolio, overseeing project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and highlight success stories, technological innovations, and positive impacts on the business. Define project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables
  • Follow-up of the digital budget of the GBU
  • Lead regular portfolio reviews, providing updates to executive leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize IT infrastructure for sustainability (data center energy efficiency, resource optimization and waste reduction)

Communication

  • Create engaging content, including articles, blog posts, presentations, and videos, to effectively communicate IT achievements to both internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure that use cases and IT solutions are known by the users and deployed within the GBU.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on IT achievements for executive leadership and stakeholders

Training and continuous improvement

  • Provide guidance and training to internal IT teams on sustainable practices, IT Digital and Data within the GBU
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers in the GBU, ensuring consistent project management methodologies are applied.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and automation within the portfolio management process.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders (vendors, suppliers, and partners) to ensure the successful execution of outsourced projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform the team.

Internal & external relations:

  • Work closely with Corporate teams including Group CSR, ENGIE Digital teams and others GBUs teams
  • Coordinate with Group Communication (Social Media responsible and others)
  • Interact with cross-functional IT teams and GBU operational teams
  • Exchanges with different internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to promote sustainable practices throughout the IT ecosystem.

Qualifications :

  • English – Full professional proficiency
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of implementing sustainable IT initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (Agile mindset)
  • Proficiency in communication, content creation , such as articles, videos, and presentations, or marketing, with a focus on IT or technology-related subjects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible content.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strategic thinking and creativity in storytelling.
