Our client is a Belgian-Swiss company specialized in innovative medical devices. The company develops and manufactures a breakthrough imaging solution that enhances patient care and improves outcomes in cancer surgery.Their technology enables real-time identification of cancerous tissue, offering a new visualization approach applicable to a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures. The company is currently commercializing its devices internationally.To support the growth of its headquarters located in Liège, we are looking for a: Field Service Engineer (M/F).ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will ensure the operational readiness of the equipment while supporting customers in developing their technical skills. You will be involved both on the technical front and as a pedagogical point of contact for users.

  • Deliver technical training to users, on-site or remotely, covering installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair operations on the equipment.
  • Develop training content in collaboration with R&D, marketing, quality, and product teams.
  • Act as a technical point of contact during post-installation phases.
  • Collect customer feedback and relay relevant insights to improve products and training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize customer support processes.
  • Document technical interventions accurately, in compliance with quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service and user retention.

Profile

  • You hold a degree in electromechanical, electrical, electronics, or a related technical field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a field-based or technical training role, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • You speak fluent English; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable delivering technical training.
  • You are familiar with regulated environments.
  • You are willing to travel frequently (up to 70% of the time) internationally and have a valid driver’s license.
