With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.Want to come and be a part of it?What will you be doing?Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of the local senior leadership team, you will play a key role in the continued success and growth of the business. The Financial Director will assume overall responsibility for strategic and operational finance both in the local Finance team and in partnership with the Division Finance team, Group Finance team, and Group Finance Shared Service Centre.Including (not exhaustive):
- Prepare annual Budget and Business Plan, formal half-year forecast, and regular internal forecasts, and present these to senior leadership in both the business and the Telecom Division
- Cash flow forecasting process with regular review and variance analysis to the latest forecast and/or budget comparator
- Month-end reporting in line with applicable accounting policies, presenting results to the MD and Division FD pre-close; includes attendance of CVR reviews led by the Commercial teams where applicable
- Group reporting including that via the Division Finance team, extending to commentary and monthly Business Review packs
- Closely liaise with and advise project teams on financial performance, this includes monitoring and reporting project profitability; investigating and providing commentaries on variances against forecast; GWIP analysis and leading on progressing client billing and cash recovery
- Oversee and control the annual audit process, including managing deliverables to audit team in line with audit deadlines and preparation of the Statutory Accounts and tax packs to M Group
What you’ll bring
- Experienced Finance lead with post-qualification experience in a similar sized organization
- Ideally familiar with Shared Service / matrix environment
- ACA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Experience in managing a team successfully
- Excellent time management
- Strong Excel skills
- Great communication skills, with the ability to engage across multiple levels of business
